Carppio de Morais is a visual artist who lives and works in Brasília, Federal District.
He holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Goiás. With more than thirty-five years in the Brazilian art scene, and particularly in the federal capital, he has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, contributing consistently to the growth of the Brasília art scene. He works across many media and supports, with a rich vein of experimentation. His works propose a critical reflection on urban and social space, addressing questions of identity, memory and social relations from the colonial period to the present.
