Tulia Radaelli

b. Porto Alegre, 1995

Tulia Radaelli was born in Porto Alegre in 1995 and graduated in Audiovisual Production from PUCRS. From childhood she cultivated a way of looking at the world, knowing that as she grew she would turn it into images that went beyond her own mind. She is drawn to photographs with people, layers and vibrant voices — what conveys the startling qualities she can see when the world does not seem so colourful.

The image as frame and the image in movement are her motif, given the power of each photograph to tell its own story. She studied cinematography with Carlos Ebert and Alziro Barbosa, and directed the short films We Brothers, Olho ruim and Sigma.
