About the artist
Alisson Nogueira is a visual artist born in Vermelho, Pernambuco.
He holds a teaching degree in Visual Arts from UNIVASF and founded the company Meandros Visuais, based in Juazeiro, Bahia. His work has a strong autobiographical and confessional component. In the artist's own words, it seeks to “stretch poetic narratives, reflecting on the multiple crossings of territory, memory, forgetting, family and confessional narrative”.
