About the artist
Born in Parnaíba, Piauí, on 24 June 1972, Antônio Carlos began his career at twenty, after taking a vocational training course. He is considered one of the most creative and talented craftsmen in Piauí. He has taken part in every edition of the Janeiro Arte exhibition in Parnaíba, in the 5th and 6th Salons of Santeiro Art (Parnaíba and Teresina respectively), and in the Fine Arts Exhibition at the Federal University of Piauí in Teresina.
