About the artist
Roseli Jahn is a visual artist born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
She graduated in Fine Arts from the Institute of Arts at UFRGS and holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in History, Theory and Practice of the Arts from the University of Human Sciences of Strasbourg.
Known as a draughtswoman, designer and restorer, her work combines technical rigour with aesthetic sensitivity. Her drawings — fluid and organic, born of observing flora in lines sometimes simplified, sometimes more elaborate and intricate, but always delicate — are the core of her work.
