About the artist
Vicente de Mello is a photographer and visual artist born in São Paulo. He lives and works in Rio de Janeiro.
He holds a BA in Social Communication with a specialisation in Advertising from Universidade Estácio de Sá and a postgraduate qualification in the History of Art and Architecture in Brazil from PUC-Rio. His work centres on the poetic investigation of the image and its symbolism, through an intense observation of light, fragments and the condition of time.
